Sandra Jean Wright was born November 19, 1935 to Elmer P. and Dorothy C. Zollweg in Rochester, New York. She died on March 8, 2021 in Ithaca of cancer. Sandra graduated from Rush-Henrietta Central School and SUNY Fredonia with a B.A. in 1957. She was married to Richard Wright in 1956. She was predeceased by her parents, her former husband, and a long-time companion, Joe Weaver. She is survived by her brother, John Zollweg (Enid), a niece (Emily) and a nephew (Philip). She was skilled as a piano accompanist and music librarian. Her hobbies included bird watching, trains, reading, and crafting gifts for family and friends. Interment of her ashes is planned for next summer in Rush, New York.
