Obituary of Andrew Thomas McMillan

Andrew Thomas McMillan, 86, of Ithaca, NY passed away November 11, 2016.
His memorial service will be Saturday, November 26, 1:00 pm, Reynoldsville United Methodist Church, 5099 Route 227 (Stage Road), Burdett, NY.
Tom was born March 29, 1930 in Ithaca to the late Ruth Rice and William Darrow McMillan, and grew up at Steep Hollow Farm. He was an alumnus of Ithaca High School, Michigan State, Cornell, and University of Maryland, where he earned degrees in animal husbandry and agricultural economics. ‘Mac’ served as a First Lieutenant in the Army during the Korean War, and worked as a USDA economist.
Tom is survived by ex-wife Sunny McMillan of Lime Rock, CT; children Christianne McMillan White, Will McMillan of Arlington, MA, Ian McMillan of Volcano, HI, and Merydith McMillan of Laguna Niguel, CA; grandchildren Arianna White, Jasper White, and Ryder McMillan Bonn; and many Rice family cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister, Donald and Elsie McMillan.
