Obituary of Leon Henry LaBouf Jr.

Leon Henry LaBouf Jr. “Mickey”, 79, of Cortland, NY, passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2020 surrounded by the family. Mickey was born in Watertown, NY to Leon H. LaBouf Sr. and Madeline DeLine on April 13, 1940. He was raised in LaFargeville, NY. On May 23, 1959 he married his teenage sweetheart Alice E. LaLonde of Watertown. He was a skilled carpenter and worked as a facilities manager for many years. He loved bass fishing in the finger lakes, cooking and spending time with friends and family. He was loved by many and will greatly missed. Mickey is survived by his wife of 60 years Alice. His daughter Donna M. (Randy) Achorn of Millinocket, ME and his sons, Thomas J. (Keitha) LaBouf of Cortland, NY, Wayne A. (Kellie) LaBouf of Cuyler, NY, Glenn T. LaBouf of Lansing, NY and Scott A. LaBouf, of Scott, NY, 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He is preceded in death by two brothers Thomas and Richard LaBouf and three sisters June Lawrence, Patricia Noyes and Carol Graham. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
