Richard J. "Dick" Sherman of Ithaca, NY, passed away on September 12,2021 at home. Born December 3, 1940 in Saratoga Springs, NY and raised in Perth, NY. Dick was predeceased by his son, David Sherman in 2004, and his mother Ruth Agnes Clark in 2010.
Dick is survived by his life partner of 33 years, Christina Newhart; his favorite "canine person" " Gracie Dog"; his three children, Karen Beth(John Mitchell), Janice McDonnell. and RJ(Danielle) Sherman, as well as his four grandchildren, Richard, Katherine, Christine, and Erin, also his great-granddaughter Genesis.
In keeping with Dick's wishes, no services will be held.
