Obituary of Iserial A. Richards

Iserial Anthony Richards passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022. Izzy was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Irene, his first wife, Dona Cobane Richards, brothers Edison, Elmer and Irvin Richards, sister Beverly Greene and his parents Edison and Pearl. He is survived by his sons Daniel (Leslie), Douglas (Don) and Dennis (Ann), Irene’s sons John Mostert, Joad Coleman and Daniel Coleman (Terri) and brothers Francis, James and Roland Richards. He will also be missed by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Izzy was born on June 2, 1933 in Parrishville, NY. He served in the Army prior to his first marriage. In 1966, the family moved to Dryden, NY. Izzy started to work for the George Junior Republic, where he worked over 45 years. Izzy and Irene were loyal members of the Moose Club and loved eating at Manos Diner before it closed. They loved their pets, enjoyed traveling and never missed an opportunity to attend a family celebration. A private burial will be held in the spring. Any remembrances can be made to a local animal shelter or the charity of one’s choice
