Obituary of Lawrence G Thayer

Ithaca NY – Lawrence G Thayer passed away peacefully in the Cayuga Medical
Center on March 16, 2022 after a brief battle with Covid. He was predeceased by
brother John Thayer, and brother William Cleary. He is survived by brother Phillip
Cleary, brother Dwayne Huyler, brother Howie Radar, sister Bonnie Thrasher,
sister Debbie Mattingly, his niece, Debbie Ingle, niece Barbie Faidherbe, niece
Wendy Connor, niece Jackie Trask, nephew John C. Barlow Jr, several great nieces
and nephews, and friends in Florida and New York. Larry was retired from the
Corning School District where he worked for many years.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, April 30 at 11 AM, at the Sunset
Palms Clubhouse, 3401 Gandy Blvd, Pinellas Park, FL, 33781. Because of Larry’s
family and friends in New York, the service will be streamed on Zoom with the link
posted on Facebook as soon as it becomes available.
