David Leroy Bell Sr. passed on October 3, 2022, at 2:18 am. Born to Katherine and Theodore Bell in Ithaca, New York on July 18, 1940.
Dave is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis VanDyne. Father to Sherry Bell-Thacker (Lawrence), Kelly Bell-Juarbe (Mike), David Bell Jr. (Heather Nickerson-Bell), Tracy Bell (Grant Wilbur), and Hailey Lannoy (Rylie).
Grandfather to Sherry Thacker, Stacy Thacker, Tarra Johnson, Laura Thacker, Michael Juarbe, Tammy Thacker, Cindy Thacker, Crystal Juarbe, Catherine Thacker, Lawrence Thacker Jr., Hailey Lannoy, Autumn Juarbe, David Bell lll, Ethan Bell, Grant Wilbur Jr., Thacker Bell, Fisher Bell, Airalee Bell, Walter Brown, Noah Wilbur, as well as 26 great-grandchildren and brothers, Ronald and Theodore Bell Jr.
Dave loved his family first and foremost, as well as hunting, fishing, and his lifetime work as a professional paint and body man.
A celebration of life will be announced in the future by the family as well as flower and donation information.
Cremation service was provided by Ithaca Cremation Service.
