Dear Mom, Dad, and family,
I wish to express my sincere and extreme sadness at Ben's passing. I was Ben's Social Studies teacher. Benjamin was such a sweet young man who had a serious interest in learning. He was a joy to know and to have in class. He invariably worked diligently at whatever task was before him and had a better than average ability to retain information. I so enjoyed our conversations regarding his ideas for inventions that he wished to develop and to market. I try not to have favorites, but here I failed when it came to Ben. We will all miss him sorely. My prayers are and will continue to be with you as you work through your grief in the months and years to come.
Yours,
Terrry Walpole
